NEIGHBOURHOOD PLACES AND SERVICES

We live in a house with our parents. There are many houses near our house.

The people living in these houses are our neighbours. The area around our

house is called our neighbourhood. There are many places in our

neighbourhood. They provide us services which make our life easy and
comfortable.

A neighbourhood may have the following places.

1. Police Station : The police station keeps the
neighbourhood safe from robbers and

pickpockets. It maintains law and order in the

neighbourhood.

2. Bank : We keep our money and

valuables safe in a bank. A bank pays

interest on the money we deposit in it.
Also it gives loans to people for different

works.

3. Park : The park is a place for fun. We all love to

play in a park. It has green trees and flowers. Park

provides us fresh air. There are swings and see-

saw. People visit park to exercise or relax on a
