Creative Activity

Write down the safety rules to be followed in school and on the playground. Put

them up on bulletin boards after taking permissions.

Collect pictures of any 10 things that you feel can be unsafe at home. Paste them
in your scrapbook along with their names. Then discuss in class why these can be

harmful.

Why should we not play on the road? Discuss with your classmates.

Note for the Teacher
Organize a drill on the school playground where the children could learn how to cross the road safety. Use three
placards of red, green and yellow, and play the game of traffic lights. You can draw a zebra crossing with the help
of chalks.
