Transport
In the past, early humans travelled on foot, which made journeys
long and tiring. Today, we can cover any distance quickly and easily
covered. This is possible because of modern means of transport and
communication, such as railways, aeroplanes, ships and the internet,
which are available worldwide.
In the early age, the only way to cover distance was to walk on foot.
There were no vehicles such as cars and scooters. The invention of
wheel brought about major changes in the transport system. As the
time passed, people improved the wheel to fit it in various carts and
vehicles. With the efforts of inventors, fast-moving means of
transport were developed around us. Today, the latest supersonic
aircraft can travel around the world within eighteen hours. Everyone
