Observe and understand :
Two children are playing. Two more join them.
Count and write how many children are playing altogether.

There are two birds on the tree. Two more join them.
Count and write how many birds are on the tree altogether.
2 birds birds
2 + 2 = 4

or
two plus two is equal to four 4
The symbol of addi on is ‘+’ and it is read as ‘plus’.
