NATIONAL FESTIVALS
Some festivals and celebrated by all Indians. These are called National
Festivals. We celebrate three national festivals.
The Republic Day : 26th January : India was declared a republic on this day.
The Independence Day : 15th August : India became free on this day.
Gandhi Jayanti : 2nd October : It is Gandhiji's birthday.

BIRTHDAYS AS FESTIVALS
We celebrate special days like birthdays and
festivals in shools college and publically.
We celebrate birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru
on 14th November as Children's Day. He loved
children and children called him Chacha Nehru
with love. Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru
