After completing the letter, you just post it in a
letter-box. There may be a post-office or a
letter box in your locality. The postman takes
out the letters from the letter-box and carries
them to the post-office. From there, they are
sent to different places concerned by bus, train
or aeroplane.
Then the postman delivers letters at the addresses written on them. In this way,
the letter reaches its destination.
We can send messages to other countries by an aerogram. An aerogram can also
be purchased from the post office.
Fax
These days a printed message can be sent by a
Fax Machine also. The message reaches its
destination at once.
Telephone
We can send message immediately through a
telephone. On the telephone, we can give and
receive message at the same time and anytime.
Newspapers
Newspaper is an important means of communication.
Newspapers are published daily in several languages. We
get all types of information by reading a newspaper.
Stories and cartoons etc., are also published in the
newspapers for children's column.
Do you Know?
A wireless is a method of sending messages which does not require wire as in telephone. This
method is used by police and military. It’s very fast.
