Just as the life of the nomads in the Sahara Desert is not easy, the life of the people in the mountains is difficult too. Act
out a play in pairs, with one student representing a person from the desert while the other represents a person from
the mountains. Exchange information about your lifestyle, worries, problems and ways you solve them by interacting
and dramatization.

• Make a group discussion on the topic ‘Economic development in desert area could reduce population pressure
in the more fertile regions’.
