Creative Activity

Collect different pictures of animals. Make a chart with their names under two
basic headings of 'Wild' and 'Domestic' animals. Put it up in class.

Talk to someone who has a pet at home. Discuss its habits, what it eats and where
it lives. Share it in class.

Why should we keep the homes of our pet animals clean?

We should not tease or hit animals. We should be kind to them.

Note for the Teacher
Show an animal chart to the class. Let the children tell the names of different animals. Then discuss whether they
are found in homes or in forests and the kinds of food they eat.
