Our School

School is a place of learning.

We go to school everyday. Each and every child must go to school. We learn many
things at school. At school, we learn to read and write.

If we don't have to go to school :

• We may never learn much about things around us.

• We may never learn to read and write.

• We may never have friends of
our own age.

• We may never learn discipline

and good manners.

Location of My School

‘Location of my school’ means where my school is situated. We should know the

address of our school, i.e. the name and location of our school.

We should also know at least 4

important buildings around our

school. It is called landmark. In the
same way, we must know landmark

of our house. It helps us to locate it

when we lose our way.
