Wild Animals
Animals that live in the jungle are called
wild animals. You can see many wild
animals in a zoo, national park, sanctuary
or a circus. Wild animals that live in the
jungle make their homes in natural
shelters.
Water Animals
Some animals like fish, whale and
octopus live in water. These are called
water animals or aquatic animals.
Terrestrial Animals
Animals that live on land are called
terrestrial animals.
Amphibians
Animals who live on land as well as in
water are called amphibians. Turtle, frog
and crocodile are amphibians.
Insects
The small animals with six legs, you see
around you, are insects. Some insects have
wings. Cockroaches, ants, flies, bees,
butterflies and mosquitoes are some
common insects.
