Fibres

We get cotton fibre from the cotton

plant. It is used to make cotton cloth.

We get jute fibre from the jute plant.

Jute is used to make cloth, ropes and

gunny bags.

Flowers

Flowers are the most beautiful part of a plant. They are
used in weddings and social functions and for making

bouquets, etc. They are mainly used for spreading

fragrance and decoration.

Rubber

We get rubber from the liquid of rubber tree. Rubber

is used to make erasers, tyres and toys.

Gum

Gum is obtained from the
latex of keekar and Acacia

trees.

Other Products

Plants give us soap, toothpaste, perfumes, paints, varnishes and dyes.
