Uses of Plants
Plants are very useful to us. We get a number of useful things from them.
Food
Plants can prepare food, we cannot. So, we eat different parts of the plants as
food.
We eat roots of some plants, We eat stems of some
for example, turnip, carrot plants such as sugarcane,
and radish. ginger and lotus.
Plants give
us food
We eat fruits of some plants
like apple, guava and banana.
We eat leaves of some We eat seeds of some plants

We get coffee from the seeds of coffee plant.
Cocoa or drinking chocolate is obtained from
the seeds of cocoa tree.
