Animals
Animals depend on plants or other animals for food.
Animals are found everywhere. They are found on land, in air and in water. They
vary in size and shape. Some are very big like the elephant, blue whale, and some
are very small like the ant. Amoeba is the smallest animal.
Domestic Animals
Animals we tame for our use are called Domestic Animals.
Animals that live with man and help him in his
work and provide useful things are called farm
animals. Animals we keep in home are called
pet animals. You can see lizards and spiders in
your homes. But they are not pet animals!
