Collect pictures of different plants that are useful to us in our day-to-day life.

Also write or stick pictures of what you get from them, in your scrapbook.

Note for the Teacher

• Use some home remedies to ease pain with the help of some medicinal plant items.
• Name household objects made from plants.

• Conduct a nature walk in school to help children leant to identify with common plant in their surroundings.
• Show the tree rings in a cut log. Tell the children that the number of rings tell the age of the tree. [Do not cut
a tree trunk for this].

• Point out how plants and animals help each other.
