In fifteen days, the moon becomes round like a ball. We call it the Full Moon.

                         Do you Know?

The moon has no light of its own. It looks bright when the Sun rays fall on it.

                                                      Stars in the Sky

Look up at the sky during night. It is dark black with many stars which appear to

twinkle. They look small although they are very big, because they are very far

away from the Earth. The Sun is also a star. It is the closest star to the Earth. So the

Sun appears brighter than the other stars.

The size and the brightness of the stars keep changing. The stars during day-time

remain where they were at night. We can’t see them during daytime due to very
bright light of the Sun. At night, the Sun is not there, therefore, they become

            visible.
